Mobile 2 weeks rack rate SSR 2nd half of August?

I'm trying to do some calculations about purchasing DVC. Am I right in thinking the rack rate for a studio for 2 weeks second half of August at SSR is around £6k (got this from the rack rate at Mousesavers)? Or if that's wrong please could you let me know what it is, roughly? Trying to work out savings/differentials! Thank you.

Rack rate though isn’t the best comparison, as you can almost always beat it in some way.

I thought of that after - but now can't prices for the timeframe I want so I thought it was better than nothing, even if I took off 20%!

Over on Mousesavers there is a section that has this information.

From $421 to $663 depending on season, for Aug it's $484 (to the 20th) and $421 until 17th Sept.

Bear in mind with your calculations that you may be buying SSR points but can use them to stay at the other more expensive resorts.

Hannah tbh you are going about it all wrong The way you are doing it you will nearly always "persuade" yourself that DVC is best value! For instance, do you normally stay at SSR or another deluxe resort ? We "know" that we will barely break even over the course of our contract:
Buy in cost plus annual dues until 2054 versus Staybridge Suites ( we would stay there or similar) but it is also worth mentioning that S Suites is the equivalent to a 1 bed, but bigger, full kitchen etc & a free daily breakfast.
So what made us buy DVC- convenience & Rose tinted Disney specs!
