Vegas Hotel

We’ve been to Vegas twice before and have stayed at the MGM both times (love the lazy river).

We are booking for next September- have already booked the cruise element from Port Orlando but doing 5 nights in Vegas first.

The reviews for MGM seem to suggest a decline in the rooms so we are looking at alternatives.

Our budget isn’t unlimited but as we aren’t staying a Friday or Saturday night - we’ll arrive Sunday, leave Friday - prices aren’t too bad.

I would like a nice pool area as we will probably do a couple of pool mornings/afternoons.

Any suggestions? Venetian and Bellagio are within budget but Cosmo a bit pricey

We stayed at the Bellagio in May and really enjoyed it. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms and it was very spacious. The pools are not massive but there is more than one. It’s in a great location and seems slightly more upmarket than Caesars next door.

We stayed at The Golden Nugget in Fremont Street last time we went, it was fabulous! Although the pool does get a bit crowded, it is perfectly placed if you don't mind going off-strip. The rooms were lovely, the restaurant was really nice, and it was very "Vegas" without being too expensive. Maybe something to consider?

We stayed at the Bellagio in august and our room was lovely and big, strip / fountain view and loved the pool area as it wasn’t the usual party pool and was perfect to relax .
Obviously the location is fab too

Thanks, looks like Bellagio is winning. We definitely want to be on the strip as we won’t have a car
