Looks like you had a fab trip! How did you find Bobs big boys diner? Is it worth a visit?

I’m gutted as Radiator Springs ride is closed whilst we are there. And HM and Splash. Need to think of rides similar that won’t make me have motion sickness. Can you recommend any?

Kat

Same here, Racers and HM for us which is a shame. Oh and Dumbo, which I’m not bothered about riding but dd says she loves having a photo of her and dh on dumbo each trip which she has got from most years aged 1 to 13.

Sounds like an amazing trip - I want to go back now! We also love Radiator Springs and the only positive about us rescheduling from this summer till next Easter is that hopefully the ride will be open again! HM is a must do for DS so hopefully that will be open too! The dessert party is definitely on my list. So glad you met Emily - isn't she fantastic? I have The Tangerine booked for next year. Would you recommend? Last time we stayed at the Sheraton by Universal so I am trying to decide between the two...

Great review and photos! I’m starting to look forward to our trip now but am gutted that Racers, HM and Splash are all closed while we are there. I’m about to book a private LA tour so the info you’ve given is really helpful and we are debating the dessert party too.

What an amazing trip, so pleased you got to do the cars ride, we’re hoping it’s open on the 17th as it closes on the 18th.
I’m getting very tempted by the desert party, you and Michelle have made it look like a must do!

We loved Bobs Big Boy, we were staying right beside it in the tangerine hotel, about 6 min walk away! It’s very authentic & a must if you like diners! We ate in the Beatles both at the back! Yes, the Beatles have been there!
Aww sorry to hear Radiator Springs is shut, it was my favourite ride. We missed splash too but they also have Grizzly River Run, very similar to Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom, which we loved got soaked though! Web Slingers is good & not sickly, I suffer from motion sickness too & was fine in most things. But if doing the Pixar Pal-Around (Mickey fun wheel) don’t do the swinging gondola! I’m so glad we weren’t on it or I would if vomited! Non swinging is good though!

The dessert party was fab! We had a brilliant view without having to get a virtual queue. Saying that, we booked the 2nd show & it definitely wasn’t as busy as the first, so a tip to do the 2nd show if you don’t want to do the dinner or dessert package. If we go back we’ll definitely do this as we said the dessert party was a one off!
The Tangerine is lovely, very small but great rooms & a small pool! I would definitely stay there again!
Emily is so nice! I’m so glad I booked with her, nothing was too much trouble for her & she was always making sure we had enough time to do everything. I am recommending her to everyone!

Aww so pleased I can give a little back as I got loads of help & info on here before we went! It’s was so nice & the desserts were lovely I wasn’t expecting them to be lol we got a beer, water, coke & a cocktail & my daughter got a tea & a hot chocolate so I definitely think it was worth it as a one off!
We’ve done it once before in WDW so we just had to do it here!
I definitely recommend Emily, she is amazing & came the whole way to Anaheim to get us. Send her an email & have a chat about what your interests are & she’ll make you an itinerary. We’ll definitely use her again!

Definitely if you can! We splashed out for-my sons 21st as he’s not really into fancy food but loves desserts so this was a no brainer!
