Whatever you do don’t pay that balance I’ve lost over a £1000 because the insurance won’t pay out.

I wouldn’t be paying out a penny more on anything to be fair. Not worth it unless you are 100% sure you will receive a full refund.

I wouldn't pay another penny. I would imagine if the flights went ahead, which is unlikely IMHO, that you would probably be able to get another villa at late notice, considering what's going on at the minute.

I wouldn’t pay, it’s a cheek rally.
If you do end up going like myself I had a villa booked. There’ll be loads of last minute villas to do a deal with. |

We are in a similar position, we fly with Tui 23rd July. Got in touch with the owner who agreed to wait for balance. I feel sorry for villa owners, however we are all aware of the issues at present. She can’t get anyone else to rent that time should you cancel. There are lots of villas available should you need one who will be more flexible.

Do not pay. I’m amazed anyone still wants to go this summer but anyway I can’t see anyone actually been able to go in July. If you can fly and want to there will be more empty beds in Orlando than at any other time in history.

Definitely wouldn’t be paying out anymore money. It’s not likely they are going to get another booking to replace yours. I would be asking them to postpone the balance due date until you know you can travel. That’s a lot of money to lose if the insurance doesn’t pay out.

it all depends when you took the insurance out if was before march they might pay out but my insurance clearly states i am not covered for any cancellation due to covid because i took mine out out mid march and probably too late.
we are supposed to be flying with tui on the 25th July and i have to pay for some DVC stays in june, it looks like i will not be paying for them and lose my deposit or i will have to payout for them and then hope that the hotels are still closed to get a refund voucher from DVCrentalsore

There's no way I'd be paying any more at this stage. in the very unlikely case that you're actually able to go you'll have your pick of empty villas last minute with the number of cancellations.
