7 and 14 Day Tickets will NOT be available after September 2021
It appears that Disney will not be offering 7 day and 14 day tickets beyond September 2021.
disneyworld The assumption is Disney will be using the new Park reservation system to control the number of guests during the Disney's 50th Anniversary in 2021. Article can be found HERE. https://thedibb.com/2020/06/7-and-14...-celebrations/

As i've mentioned before, with the introduction of the new park booking system i can see Disney setting different prices to different days, even changing prices with demand like flights etc.

So do we know what will be available?
We're going in 2022 and some of our party want to go to WDW for their first time.

Omg it gets worse with every announcement 😢 We have already put of 2021 to 2022, for Disney only trip with free dining (hoping ) as last 2 trips were with no Disney. Now thinking it may be another Universal trip without Disney again. Love Disney but don't have a bottomless pot of money ... Not looking good for UK guests for the foreseeable 😭

So based on 14 day tickets being available up to mid September we would assume once normality returns the reservation system will be scrapped until the 50th celebrations? As the ultimate tickets being sold include park hopping.
I need a glimmer of hope for our August trip next year. |

Getting Excited
|
I'm confused as to what this will look like going forwards - Do we have to pay per day that we want to be in a park? What if we book Magic Kingdom for a day but come fastpass day we can grab FOP? What about park hopping? Will this apply to on-site guests or only those not on-site? So many questions.
Watching this with interest, visiting Feb 2022 and I'm now confused as to how the process will work. |
