DAS card

Does a person who requires a DAS card have to get a new one each day at the park they are visiting that day, or do they get one at the first park they visit on day one which will then last for the duration of the holiday?
Also, is it a separate "card" or something that can be added onto the magic band?
Thank you

At Disney the DAS entitlement can be added to the Magic Band and is valid for up to 14 days (for all the Disney parks), if your ticket is valid that long. They will register the DAS entitled person and take their photo (they did ours using a tablet device) and if I recall correctly, also register the magic bands of the rest of the party (but no photos). It worked really well. Some good info here

I'm not sure how it works if you don't have magic bands, i.e. Whether it's a separate card or gets added to entrance tickets.

Edited at 07:37 AM. Reason: Clarify it is good for all Disney parks

Yes they register up to 5 other magic bands and the persons at the same time. If you don't have magic bands it gets registered to the disney ticket /card. You have to explain to guest services briefly why you need it and they will then sort it. If however your party member has a wheelchair then they say you don't need a DAS as it works the same. We have 1 person who needs a DAS (me) and 1 in a chair so I always get my DAS put on everyone's band (party of 5) and then its there in case needed but 9/10 we are all together and they go off the wheelchair if that makes sense?
