Many now do support SMS over their WIFI calling services. These include: Three, BT, EE, ID Mobile
Those that don't as far as I know: O2, Vodafone, Sky, Virgin Swapping is often not an option, but is certainly worth investigating. And swapping to one which provides Wifi calling and SMS on the phone the OP has may be the answer even if none can supply a good signal. Many also provide a femtocell which still piggybacks off of your broadband and does both calls and SMS. It is a device which creates its own mobile signal for a range of around 15m. EE - ee/help/help-new/gener...ing-signal-box Three - support.three/SRVS/CGI-...se=EXT(EM99429) O2 - o2/help/network-co...boostbox-guide Vodafone - Have stopped their SureSignal Femtocell but worth calling them if you are on Vodafone (You may be able to buy a secondhand one and have them register it to you). There are options / solutions out there provided the OP has a broadband connection of more than 1mbps or an alternative provider with decent signal. |
