Virgin holidays virgin miles

It seems a safer bet to book a holiday for next year as a package rather than DIY

Can you use your avirgin air miles toward your virgin holiday and if so do you know the rate

I’ve booked my holiday for next year using some points. I think 3,000 points gives you £16 off. Hopefully someone else can confirm this for you

We have booked Flydrive for 2022 as I would rather just pay deposit at this time. I was offered the option to use both mine and DH Virgin miles, but I chose to knock it off final balance when that becomes payable as we will have more by then. Didn't ask the rate and can't remember the exact details but my £120k ish points knocked off over £600 and DH has a few more so more by another £700. That's in addition to 7% flying club discount. Also it's a seem less process as they now have direct access into your account.

It's £16.50 per 3k so 0.55p per mile so not the best value but that is the trade off as with reward flights you have to pay the taxes/fees up front.

Yes that does seem a poor trade off.
Especially when you have to by miles at £15 per 1000 plus £15 fee
