Activating tickets at a Water Park

Hi Dibbers

On the first full day of our visit we plan to go to a Water Park - does anyone know if it's possible to activate our WDW 21 Day Tickets there?

Thanks

BB

Just by going through the entrance with your bands etc. will activate it. Dont think its different just because its a water park. Then your ticket will start from first use.

So all we have at present are our MBs from last visit and a confirmation email for 2020 tickets . My question is can we get them linked together at the waterpark?

Thanks

You can get them linked together now. Link your tickets to MDE, link your magic band to MDE and by default the bands and tickets are linked.

I am assuming you are offsite and haven’t bought a hotel / ticket combo.

You should be able to link your e-tickets in your confirmation email to your MDE account right now. Your MagicBands from your last visit should still be linked to your MDE account.

You don't link tickets directly to MagicBands. As long as the e-tickets and Magicbands are showing in your MDE account then you're good.

You can then scan your MagicBand at the entrance to the waterpark to get in and this will activate the tickets.

We did exactly this last year - we linked our tickets on MDE for our previous magic bands, and went to Blizzard Beach on our first day. No problems. Although I did take a print out of our ticket confirmation just in case.

Yes you can, we did it last year, collected our tickets and MBs from Disney Springs and then went over to Typhoon Lagoon.
