We have stayed at the Travelodge T5 Heathrow before. Short Uber ride / shuttle to the terminal. Not as nice as a PI but a cheaper option - think we paid £25 for the night and we are usually so excited we don't mind a more basic hotel! although if the PI was only a little more I would opt for a PI

There is the Heathrow free travel zone. You can get on the 105 or 111 for free from the front of the PI Bath Road to the Central Bus Terminal. No need to get on the expensive Hoppa buses that everyone else will tell you about!

Completely agree - so many people dont realise this - basicall go to the nearest bus stop and get the free bus.

I think the Hotel Hoppa is £6 per person

The other alternative if theres a few of you is an Uber!

I love using the Pods to T5 if I am parking in the area they serve - but charging £5 to go through the gate to the Thistle is a bit cheeky.

And they are much more frequent than the Hoppas!

I had a very bad experience with a Hoppa once where one didn’t turn up, then the next couldn’t fit everyone on and people were saying they were going to miss flights.

Every few minutes!

If you walk 300yds or so to the left and a yard past the Harlington junction, you get even more.

We always stay at the Premier Inn Bath Road. Purple parking right next door, so we drop the car off there in the morning and use their shuttle to get to the terminal. Restaurant and the Costa are good. For the price I really don’t think it can be beaten.

We have always had good service from them and can't fault them.

They dented my car around 3 years back, but denied it. I could not prove the fact.

There are risks in every operation such as this. I know that the cars are under cover and are not driven whilst I am away. (I photograph the mileage). I would be more worried if my car was collected from me and driven to an unknown, ‘safe’ location.

I will continue to use a Purple Parking... convenience, price .. just one bad experience that could happen in any Supermarket or in town Carparking on any day of the year.
