Where has the little arrow gone? Is it just me?

There has alway been an arrow for that...



And if you want to go to the first unread post in a thread it is this one...

But you can just click on the thread title to get to the first post, so you have a button there duplicating a function but have removed a very useful one. Seems a shame. Can we start a petition to bring it back?

What I'm missing is the ability to view the last post without opening the thread, rather than the shortcut to opening it. That's what the now absent arrow allowed us to do.

They are different. Clicking the thread title always takes you to the first post in that thread. Clicking the circle takes you to the first UNREAD post in the thread. That might be post 10 or 25 or 52 etc etc. The circle will only be there if there are unread posts in the thread.

This icons have always been there and are not new.

Thanks Simon, I guess I never noticed that arrow as I always used the other one.

If there’s any chance the other arrow could come back would be great though.

I agree, it was a great way to check if I had read the latest post without opening the whole thread which takes longer. Never mind I'll just have to be a bit more choosy. Or even spend a bit less time on the Dibb as that feature definitely kept me reading when I should probably be getting on with other things! 😂

'My Active Threads' is what I use all the time. That way I can see the last post on any thread I have posted on to quickly see if there have been other replies.

Along with 'Forum Spy' if you want to see and read the replies as they are posted.

It’s ‘new posts’ for me.

Case in point, a new thread has been posted about Vanessa Feltz. I used to be able to click the arrow to get the gist of the post, whether or not it’s of interest, now I have to open the thread. It’s only a few seconds more but over the course of the day, that might equate to hours for me
