WDW AP refunds
Now I know that Facebook isn’t the most reliable place to get info from, but...I just read a post on the AP page from a UK AP saying that they had money hit their account from Disney so phoned to query and they were told that their pass was refunded as overseas AP won’t be able to visit this year so passes are being refunded.
Anybody else seen or heard anything? |

I also see this on Facebook - might have been the same post as it was on one of the Florida groups. I haven’t seen any links though or anything from Disney themselves.

If this is true then I think we will all know where we stand for our Florida holidays this year.

Absolutely nothing on my side from Disney regarding APs (not even an email) - have an AP expiring at the end of October.

Hopefully this will mean the unactivated gold vouchers (via DVC) we bought in Jan 2020 for our May 2020 / Sept 2020 trip will be refundable!

I applied for a refund of the unused part of our AP's from March - May and have an acknowledgement e-mail from WDW but no refund yet. Our passes expired first week of May.

If its the same as the one I saw fhey haven't received any refunds yet but I doubt they will. It sounds like a CM has given them the wrong information as Disney would have to refund everybody's AP regardless of where they live and we would have heard about it on the multiple Disney forums out there not just one facebook group.
The Disney webpage still just lists the 2 options for fully paid up APs. Disney has no control over whether or when an AP holder can travel, it has never allowed refunds of an AP when the parks are opened. Its a risk you take when buying an AP especially if you live nowhere near WDW. Edited at 08:45 PM. |
