Do you think there is any chance they may decide to keep the me a bit longer as the train has been delayed.
There is no comment from mears on prices yet is there?

As I said up-thread, it really doesn't get used much by the majority of guests (ie US guests) and at the moment overseas guests aren't an option. So I don't think they will be that bothered about keeping it.

I suspect Mears already run transfers, because if you book with Virgin Holidays transfers are included, and for us in 2010 that was a Mears coach (we didn't know about the ME). So maybe look at how much Virgin are charging for them.

I think I would rather Uber.

Although I think you're right and it didn't get used by the majority of guests, it still seemed to be pretty popular. Or, at least, that's what people were saying when posting photos of long queues for ME.

With apparently 50 million visitors to WDW each year, if only 2% used ME then that's still 1 million people a year. (Imagine charging everyone just $10 to use it - that would be an extra $10M a year!)

Let's face it, Disney has simply cut it as a cost-saving exercise to save millions. The majority of guests won't care... but some will.

Disney already had a good idea about when the trainline and station at DisneySprings will be constructed before announcing the end of ME. I don't think Disney expects the vast majority of visitors to use the train line.

So, no, I don't think Disney will keep ME any longer.

Mears already does coach transfers from MCO to Disney but I can't find any individual prices - only a price for the whole coach (i.e. I think they were contracted out to tour operators like Virgin and so on). I guess we'll get a better idea of price later this year?

I wonder whether they will use the current area used for Disney's ME in the future? Just remove all the Disney signage but keep everything else.

I'm guessing that Mears will start releasing prices in the last quarter of this year. It would certainly make sense to use the area that ME was using. People know where it is, decent amount of room to get a number of buses moving at a time.
