For me homemade are the best! I love a more complex sausage roll and make mine with cheddar, bacon and red onion chutney! The aldi cheddar and bacon ones are lovley too tho as are M&S !

I voted as occasional.
I like some of the fancier ones from marks and spencer but recently I had one from there that was marked as best ever. It was huge. I think maybe it would have been better hot but I had to eat cold as I was staying away from home that night and it was my dinner.
If we have to travel south we would always stop at Tebay services and they do amazing sausage rolls. I don’t who makes them though.
And I have to add that I like a sausage roll from Greggs as well.

I voted other.

We don't like puff pastry as it's usually soggy after a short time. Guess what I will be doing over the next few days? Frozen shortcrust pastry (mines rubbish) and sausage meat with onion, herbs and apple added - yummy. I also do a batch for my son and auntie.
