The cyber men, Daleks (when they couldn’t climb stairs), the sea monsters were the frightening ones for me...

I voted DT, although Matt had some fab episodes too.

I won't mention the current one, the less said the better imo!

William Hartnell without doubt. The first and the best from a time when Dr Who was a completely new telly phenomenon. I used to hide behind the armchair when the daleks and cyber men appeared !

But really liked Eccleston i think he made the Dr great again.
But Tennant took it 1 step further, the chemastry between himself and billy piper was great 👍 so i voted David Tennant
Very similar I voted for DT but Ecclestone was a serious contender, I wish he had stuck it for longer as he’d have taken it further. and as you say he was the first of the new generation Doctors and shaped where the series went .

I don’t think you can entirely blame Jodie, the script standard has dramatically fallen .

As a child of the 70's I grew up with Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker who were brilliant. However I voted for David Tennant his relationship with Billy Piper was compelling, Doomsday being my fave episode.

Tom Baker was my era - when I hid behind the sofa, And David Tennant my kids favourite, when I watched them hide behind the sofa. greta story lines.

I voted for Tom - my fondest memories. I think Matt Smith was excellent though, I wish he'd stayed longer.

My favourite episode of recent times was Blink though!

Urgh. The best for years. Some of the angels are still around in Cardiff. I give them a bit of a double check each time 😂

I thought it would have been closer between David Tennant & Tom Baker (which is ironic as I voted for Matt Smith )
