We have booked a cottage in the centre of St. Ives - we are going in June. Have visited the town as a child so a long time ago but not stayed there before. Cottage looks lovely and has good reviews - we are quite excited about the trip.

We stayed at Tregenna Castle and it was lovely - I've looked a few times to return there but it is a bit pricey, but everywhere in England is at the moment. On Hoseasons I looked at some lodges for 2022 for around £600 a week but this summer they are more than double that. Might be staying home.

We have just booked a long weekend at the start of September in St Austell. We have booked a little apt in Rockleigh Place.
My best friend is moving there at the end of March to work for St Ewe Eggs.
This will be our first visit but I doubt it will be our last.

We booked a 2 bed apartment in Newquay yesterday, overlooking Fistral Beach. The apartments look lovely, all new and shiny. It was just over £800 for 8 nights which I thought was reasonable for June

We go to st ives most years if we can and booked to go May half term. We always get a cottage in the centre, park the car and leave it for the week and just go to the beach, crabbing, nice restaurants, chilling, shopping etc. Love st ives although it can get very busy in August and finding a parking space closer to town can be a nightmare! Cottages in centre can set you back £1000-1400 in school holidays though! The further out you are, the cheaper it is but we like being in the hub, walking back from beach to cottage, having shower outside cottage. Just lovely family holiday. Beaches are also beautiful.

Have just looked this up and it is 5 minutes up the road from where I live. You will have amazing views of St Austell Bay. People can be quite snobbish about St Austell but I love living here, and it’s a great base to explore Cornwall
