The sound of children playing

Just heard the children in the playground at the nearby Primary school. Didn't realise the sound of them playing was missing... until it came back. It's the little things.

Every house I have lived in as an adult I’ve lived within hearing children in the playground from my garden, as you say lovely to hear this.
My first home when my son was born was end of terraced upstairs flat looking right into the playground.

Same. There is an infant school at the end of our road and it has been lovely to hear them all playing. There have been some children there all the time but it is quite obvious that everyone is back.

I'm with you, I could hear the kids playing in the school playground earlier and smile to myself thinking what a lovely sound it was.

Just waiting now for the sky divers to restart as I love hearing their plane and watching them come down at the local airfield.

I agree it is lovely to hear, we have the school playing field behind ou4 bungalow, didn’t realise how much I missed it 😀

Yes! We are next to a nursery and it's a joy to hear them playing.

It’s such a lovely sound , weather hasn’t been great this week so haven’t heard this lovely noise yet .
We do get excited now when we hear a plane as well we often hear the Air Ambulance as it’s a direct flight path from the hospital back to base

I work in a school and the joy on their faces while they were playing on Monday morning made me quite emotional. It was wonderful to watch ☺️

I live near a primary school and like to hear lunch and break time play!

I also do not live far from a footy stadium and hear the noise of the crowd on match days and love that too!
