Booking park entry?

I have read on here somewhere (can't find it now) that you have to book into the parks.

Can you just turn up or is there something you have to do?

We are only doing Universal and staying on-site for the night. Also we may do Seaworld.

Don't want to go skipping to the gate and get turned around

Universal don’t require you to book your park day before you go, but Disney do. You need a valid ticket and a booking to get into a Disney park

We are getting our tickets through a ta and don't get them until 2 weeks before we fly

I feel sure that the reservations may all have gone by that point

You can buy them from Seaworld rather than through a TA for peace of mind, you would then book your park the same time you buy your tickets. But that said, there is currently availability for every day throughout 2021, including today and tomorrow, so I wouldn’t be overly worried about it unless you are planning to go on a popular public holiday or something.
