BA going back to Gatwick?
Just read on another forum that someone had their Flight changed from departing Heathrow back to Gatwick? Anyone else?
Maybe Virgin will follow suit?

We due to fly to Heathrow/MCO 4th June, they cancelled that and put us on the Gatwick flight, but return flight was still to Heathrow (so was on the phone for 90 mins and they changed the return to Gatwick!

Yes that's me - no change in my return which is Heathrow but I am not going to confirm the change to Gatwick-Orlando yet as there's no rush. I will sort things out when the rules for travel are clearer on May 17th.

I replied on the other thread as well but I've just checked my dates and on the 7th July the morning 10.50 flight is from LGW but the afternoon 13.30 is from LHR. On our return on the 22nd July the 17.10 from MCO is into LGW but the 19.55 is LHR so it's anyones guess where we'll be flying from

So just to make sure: after 14th June the LHR-MCO will be ok?
We just changed our ams-lgw-mco (4 aug) because ams-lgw was cancelled. |

I'm closer to Gatwick then to Heathrow, so I really hope there's Gatwick-Orlando routes on one airline in the future. Otherwise it's a pain to get across London.

It could just be that there hasn't been much of a take up for seats on the day and a bit of forward planning has shown a more economical use of resources on the day.
