Need new printer/scanner - recommendations
Hi All, Yes need new printer/scanner.
Just for home, would want quite good quality prints/scans. This HP instant ink seems a good thing? Just having a look I could go for the free option for the amount I print? Any help welcome. T.I.A

I have bought the cheapest hp printer from argos and whilst it does the job it seems to go through ink very quickly.
If you do a lot of printing and you can splash a bit more cash then to Epson ecotank range is excellent and really economical for printing. I had one but it was an older model and not compatible with my new chromebook so I had to sell it. |

We have an HP Envy and use the instant ink service. The printer/scanner/copier is good, nice quality print - good enough for DD17 doing A level art...
The ink service is good up to a point. You don't get sent ink until you are getting low - which has led to tears and a run to a big overnight supermarket at school project time. So if you print a little all the time, or a lot all the time it is great. If you print a little most of the time, but then a lot for a short period of time, it can mean having to run out for more ink... |

The HP envy series is really good. I like it because I can print off my phone. It prints quickly and also double sided. I got 9 months free ink which HP post out. This is about to end but is still only £1.99 a month ( I don’t print much so this is the lowest, about 50 pages a month) I think the printer was between £50-60 from Currys.
