Barclays lounge access?

We use Barclays travel pack for insurance and I see I can add on lounge access.

Has anyone done this? How does it work?

We have the basic travel pack and i was thinking of upgrading to get the lounge access, but looking at reviews etc it seemed a bit hit and miss as you couldnt book before hand unless you paid an additional deposit, so we decided against it. DD loves looking around anyway, so we will do that instead!

we have it and it is subject to availability. We've turned up before and there's been no space. However, you can book a space for �5 per head. My verdict is if you're going to use the other features of the travel pack this is a great add on
