I am at the parks now. When walking from Sequoia this morning they were just starting to put the fences up in-front of HNY. When I came back they were all the way along right to cafe mickey side.

However it also seems they have blocked off the river side walk to cheyenne and santa fe, so if you are going to be staying at those hotels be aware your walk back will be longer as you'll have to walk via sequoia...

Oh no, I had feared they'd do that. That is going to be annoying for getting back to the Santa Fe as the path on the SQL is not as well lit up as the other one.

Aww no, it was like that last time we went due to work on the Cheyenne! Are you still able to walk that side of the lake?

Yes there is complete access to the lake that side.
