We got a really good deal last year in NOvember with Avis through BA for a weeks rental for a people carrier and liked the fact that you could just go straight to the car with Avis Preferred membership. It seems that Avis through BA have the best deals at
the moment for our needs.

Thanks Mr Tom Morrow.

OK. These are all with Alamo. 3 prices shown, 7 seater, intermediate saloon, full size saloon
Brits £1305, £947, £967 - 2 drivers
Andy £2064, £1438, £1468 - 1 driver
Virgin £719, £509, £549 - 2 drivers

I will say Andy has cheaper prices with Avis namely
£1328, £615, £638

If you are being quoted more with BA/Avis I would go with VA and get a full size saloon fully insured, 2 drivers, pick your own car from maybe 30 in the row for £549.05p

Thanks for all the info!

If booking with Virgin do you have to do it through flying club?
I see that it would be better booking with Virgin Atlantic rather than
Virgin Holidays.!

Thanks

I book through the 'normal' VA website then when entering my details that's when I put in my Flying Club number

Thanks again Mr Tom Morrow for your help!

I thought I would check with BA/Avis again and I have managed to book a Ford Fusion (Group E) for 12 - 28 April for £504! So very happy with that! Thanks again for all your help... I just love the Dibb for info!

We (4 Adults, 2 Children) have just booked Flight + Car with Virgin for June 2019. To secure the Booking we have paid £175 per person (£1,050). Balance to be paid end of March 2019. The seats are in Economy Delight and the car is a Ford Expedition.

Alamo skip the counter and add ons

Hi, I have booked a car with Alamo at Orlando MCO through virgin and have taken the gold insurance out which includes a sat nav and car seats etc.
I was wondering how you go about collecting these if you just go straight to choosing your car having already checked in?

Thanks in advance.

Hi. The seats are stacked up behind the Alamo hut as you enter their garage. All wrapped in plastic with signs telling you which seat fits which child's weight.
The sat nav is handed to you at the exit barrier but in your case as you are getting seats I would ask at the hut as they may sort it out there.
