Game of Thrones Viewing Party?

Yo!

So, I'm gonna be that guy.

It just so happens Game of Thrones is airing when we're over there. I'm a massive nerd and ideally don't want to miss it! As it airs on Sunday nights we don't generally have much planned as it's more of a rest day so I'm wondering if there's anywhere on I-Drive that might have viewing parties where I can go and watch it for the hour?

I would be that person too! I�ve just started watching it again in preperarion for season 8 starting. I saw the teaser on Instagram today and it gave me shivers...I cannot wait!

Think it airs simultaneously in UK and US. Early hours of 15 April in UK

I doubt it would be showing in public. You would need to be staying somewhere that has a subscription to the HBO channels.

We'll miss two episodes while in Orlando

But I guess that gives us something to look forward to when we get back! Don't think I could stand trying to watch it on US TV as the adverts every 6 minutes drive me mad lol. If it was the final episode I think I'd really try and find some way to watch though. I think it will be episodes 4 and 5 we miss if my maths is correct...

Is it just me that would hate a 'viewing party'... there's guaranteed to be someone who talks over it because they were dragged there by their boyfriend and aren't bothered! It's bad enough keeping DH's mouth shut never mind a whole group of people..

Our party has already had strict rules laid down! No talking being the first and the one person (husband of my friend) who isn�t into GOT landed himself the job of babysitting 4 children in a different house!
