Mobile Which Restaurant on First Full Day

Hi. I've booked our ADR's for our stay at the Disney Beach Club and on the Sunday which will be our first full day we had planned to have a leisurely day. We have Beaches and Cream booked for lunch at 12.30 but can't decide where to eat in the evening. We need a table service credit restaurant really.

We can easily get to the Boardwalk, Epcot or HS but didn't want to trek much further as we are up very early Monday for Magic Kingdom.

We have booked most of the usual places on our ADR's but happy to go more than once. Its just me, the wife and our 8 year old daughter.

Appreciate any opinions.

Thanks

It would be handy to know what you've already booked
Also, the character breakfast at Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk is meant to be good, so another option could be to book that for breakfast and move Beaches and Cream to dinner. Then just have a light lunch wherever you happen to be. That way, if you decide to visit a park, you don't have to be back for a certain time for lunch.

The Ale & Compass in the Yacht is very nice (old Capt's Grill)

We were pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Not far from you either.

I’ve not heard great things about ale and compass and the menu doesn’t look fantastic. I would head into Epcot for teppan edo or via Napoli or a country that is close to the gateway entrance

If you haven’t booked it already I’d suggest the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe (doesn’t have to be early they go till nearly lunch time) and move Beaches and Cream to the evening if possible. Cape May breakfast is a lovely relaxed character experience. Perfect for an 8 year old girl as Minnie is fabulous there. The food is good too for a breakfast. Much better than in the parks IMO.

I would go with a breakfast as will be up early on first day. Garden grill is great with the characters. I wasn't keen on the food at beaches and cream, lovely ice cream but food nothing special and didn't think worth a ts credit
