Using standard meal vouchers in quick service restaurants
Hi
Can anyone tell me how it works using standard meal vouchers in quick service restaurants. Can you just use them for their monetary value or is it one meal voucher = one set meal? Also has anyone used them in Annette's diner? Do you have to stick to a certain set menu? Thanks |

The adult voucher is worth €29. Personally I don’t think it is worth exchanging it for a QS meal. If you use the credit at a standard buffet you get a soft drink included if you use the voucher as a €29 credit you lose the free drink.
You can use the €29 credit at Annette’s and pay the difference. Edited to say hi. Just noticed it is your first post ! |

It’s generally not advisable to use your standard meal plan voucher at a quick service as you’ll normally end up losing some of the value.
If you want to you can do it but you can only use one voucher per meal at its face value. |

Thanks for replies. We only plan on doing it the once. We want to be able to feed the kids before the fireworks at 7pm (I'm sure it's an hour earlier than last year!)
As the restaurants don't open till 6pm on the evening it's going to be a rush to get back. Is Annette's diner open all day? |

‘Get back’?
Do you know there are restaurants you can use in the parks? Plaza Gardens would be a good choice and I believe it’s open all day too. Yes - Annette’s is open all day. |

Plaza Gardens would be ideal as right near the castle for the fireworks and is open all day.

Hi
Yes, I know of the buffet restaurants in the park but when trying to book online the latest option was 3.30pm. I'll try calling them to book. Thanks |

The other option is to use the voucher for a buffet lunch and have a smaller QS in the evening.

We are doing the standard plan in Feb and are planning to use a couple of the vouchers at lunch time (agrabah and plaza gardens) and then we'll have a smaller lunch for dinner such as at Earl of Sandwich or Five Guys.

If you do want to go down the quick service route I'd recommend Lucky Nugget saloon as this is a more expensive one and is unique in that you order your food and then they bring it over to you. They also often have little puppet shows on in there which look amazing. This will at least mean you're getting a bit more value out of your vouchers than the other, cheaper options.
