Loveholidays?

I should be excited but feel anxious and want a bit of reassurance hopefully.

Got home from work and DH has booked for us to go to Orlando...yeahhhhh

But...I've looked at the email cos he isn't home and he has booked with loveholidays. I've never heard of them so I searched them and they haven't got very good reviews so now I'm panicking.

Granted the reviews that I read were about people booking hotels they have never been to, and the one we are booked in is a hotel that we have stayed in many many times, but I am just worried that they aren't legit!

Has anybody got experience of using them?

I'm also hoping he has booked the flight seperate as there is no mention whatsoever of a flight on the email.

Yes, totally legit. They were part of another known travel agency until a few years back and then left to go alone as they were so successful.

Thanks everyone. I think because I’ve never heard of them I googled them and immediately got a bad review and so was angry at DH for booking a possible bogus firm.
Thanks for all your replies I can update my countdown now!

When booking with any 3rd party it always increases the chances of things going wrong, just because there's extra people to mess things up! But of course booking direct with a hotel can be a lot more expensive so I've used many 3rd party agents in the past.

I find a lot of the time when people have problems with 3rd parties, it's because they want to change something like dates or names, as it adds an extra layer of terms and conditions between you and the end supplier. A lot of the bad reviews can come from people not understanding that their contract is not direct with the hotel/airline and the 3rd party they booked through can impose whatever terms and fees they like.

But having said all that, most people will have a totally fine experience and just never write about it on the internet. So chances are everything will go smoothly for you! For peace of mind, you could email the hotel a couple of weeks before you go just to check the booking is all in place and details correct.
