I see this has changed since last time we went. Last year I was able to book & got the discount off straight away then I just had to show the necessary documents on arrival, which was all fine.
For this trip in August I’ve had to send all my documents by email & wait till they get back to me before they add the discount. Has anyone else booked recently with the discount? Also what documents did you send? I’ve had to send, passport, blue badge, medical certificate & I just sent my sons PIP letter as he’s just been moved from DLA to PIP.

Hi,

I booked through magic breaks and asked them if they also offer this, as my Mum has rheumatoid arthritis. They do offer it, and basically do everything for you. As you said I had to make the booking first, then I had to send a photo of her blue badge. They then forwarded that to the relevant people at Disney and then applied the discount when Disney got back to them with the amount of discount.

The lady dealing with the booking said it was because of the % offers on bookings. It makes it difficult for Disney to apply the offer before the booking has been made. Xx

Thanks for the reply. So did you get the discount off the balance before you had to pay it? I just sent it off today, so how long does it take for Disney to get back?

We paid a deposit, which was the total amount of the Eurostar, plus the usual deposit amount.

I chased up Magic Breaks directly, asking how long I should expect to wait, then the next day I got an updated invoice, so I imagine she was just a bit busy and hadn't gotten to adding it on yet, until she specifically looked cos I'd asked.

Just checked my email, it was just over 3 weeks. But like I said, it's possible they replied sooner, but the agent dealing with my booking was just busy. X

Just for information, we got just over £148 off for a three night stay in August.

Oh that’s great! 3 weeks is grand! I was expecting months!
Last year I got £240ish off for 4 nights 5 days which is fab! We’re going for 3 nights in August so I can expect something similar! Xx

That was on the 25% off + free half board offer in Sequoia Lodge. If I remember correctly, I think we're going at a very similar time! Xx

Yes that’s what I’ve booked too! Staying at NPB for the 3 nights then tagging an extra night at the Dream Castle, as the flight times where so bad! We’re going Sunday 25th Aug, when do you go? x
