Lineberty app for meeting characters at Disney Studios

Lineberty app is only in Studios. Jack usually meets in Disneyland Park near Phantom Manor. We met him in November and he was great.

Bear in mind, though, that meets at DLP go way beyond the ‘sign, pose, next’ mentality of WDW. Characters spend decent time with each member of every family for interaction and pictures. Which is lovely - but means that queues move slowly. There were 5 parties in front of us, and a disabled group off to the side. We waited almost an hour.

As you can see only 5 out of the 22 meet and greets needed lineberty reservations.

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds good. I’ve heard lots of people say that. Maybe we were just lucky in wdw at Christmas but we found the interactions to be really meaningful with our dd who turned 4 when we were there. Esp Winnie the Pooh and stitch lol they must have hugged her for 5 mins without moving haha so many great videos to watch back. I think I’ll maybe look at booking. 3 nights 4 days hoping that’ll be long enough.

I went for the RunDisney weekend in September 18 and actually found the Lineberty app great. I met Buzz, Minnie and Mickey through it in the Studios, each time queuing for no more than 5 minutes. Had no problems getting a slot, I just set an alarm for a couple of minutes before they were released. No issues with it crashing, but I would second that you need to keep checking it as your time slot does move when people don't turn up.
