I love call the midwife, Sunday nights is my night to gain full control of the remote cos OH is out and youngest in bed by time this starts so glad it's back on and something decent to watch. re-runs from the beginning have recently been on drama Channel... I used to love Pam ferris when she was in it.
Next series hopefully will be into my era of the 70s

Certainly brings back memories for me as it's filmed partly in Chatham dockyard and it's in the area where I started work in 1965. They are running call the midwife tours later this year. My wife gets really annoyed when I see parts that I recognise and say "been there". It was 1963 when the sea froze over so yes it was cold!

I was born in 1965. I have pictures of me in a bassinet just like the one in this weeks episode.

I rarely watch TV but this is one of the two programmes I watch. I love that they address so many social issues. I’ll be sad to see Trixie leave though.

My mum and I always try to see how many times the ugly brown glass jug appears on the table at Nonnatus House, as she’s got the same one and has already passed it to me!

found it! I’m a bit sad to discover that it’s only selling for £16!
