After the "fall" opening announcement last year, I did consider bring the holiday forward to June to make sure we avoided it. Really wish we had now.

Not sure whether to avoid HS altogether now but we love TSM, R&R and TOT, and obviously Fantasmic. Will see if I can get fastpasses for them and an ADR at Sci-Fi - the only ADR my DD has requested! - and then see what other peoples experiences of crowds at the rest of the park have been nearer the time.

I couldn’t believe it when I saw the opening date! I’m worried about the crowds but also quite excited that we’ll get to see it as it does sound amazing. This is our first trip and we’re not planning on going back for a few years at least so we’ll just have to make the best of it.

We are a bit concerned how it will affect crowd numbers in the other parks too. We go mid Oct to 24th Nov. I think we will bite the bullet and go see it but not expecting to get on any rides.

Is anyone doing universal? It’s our first time with our dd8 and first for dh. We don’t like rollercoasters as such. We are trying to decide on either 1 day or 2 days. We will have hopper tickets as we’d like to do Hogwarts Express. Any suggestions? Dd is HP mad!

Yes we are doing 4 nights at HRH before heading to Disney for 10. 😃😃 can’t wait! Adr day soon! Bit gutted about GE and the increase in busyness but it’ll still be fab!

We aren't this time but did on our last visit. DD2 was a little bit scared on some of the universal rides, but there are plenty of younger guest rides, also HP is fantastic. Mine bought the interactive wands and spent ages casting spells in Diagon Alley!
