Afraid we are the same avoid Manny's since we had a couple of dodgy experiences both both in Haines and the 192 both service and actually uncooked chicken in Haines.

Last year we headed to go to Manny's on the 192 and the kids refused to go in and wanted to go back to the Texas Roadhouse instead. So crossed over to the TR. Didn't get to do the normal call ahead seating but it was worth the wait.

I've been to both Mannys and was always curious why it got such rave reviews because we didn't overly rate them, and not worth the long wait at the Haines one even when you book ahead.

We are Longhorn fans, and below is the undercooked chicken Texas Roadhouse served me:

Just shows anywhere can have an off day, it's when it happens more than once and / or they aren't completely horrified and exceedingly apologetic and make changes behind the scenes.

Would you give TR another go? We have Manny three attempts at different locations all of which were awful. Shame really 8--9 years ago Manny's in Haines was fab.

Looks like we may try longhorn steakhouse as I’ve heard a few people give it good reviews.

We went to the venue at the 192 and it was one of the worst meals we’ve experienced however i’v Heard the restaurant at Haines is good.

I didn't eat much of it, but once served we didn't see the server until she came with the bill (no refills no asking if everything was okay etc). She said the manager had taken the meal off the bill but didn't bother to come and see me. This was September last year. So I wrote to head office and they sent me a $40 voucher. We went back in December last year and it was very quiet in there. The young lad that served us was pleasant and i should him the voucher and the picture and he said he would let the manager know. The manager never came to speak to us, and when I paid I asked the server if he had told the manager and he said he had told her. I said it was very decent of her to make the effort to see us, and he apologised and said he would ask her to come over but I said not to bother.

The food wasn't great quality and I honestly think that Longhorn is far superior quality, and the one time we had an issue the manager was excellent dealing with it.

So never will we set foot in TR again.

Haven’t tried the Mannys on the 192 so can’t comment. Have always enjoyed our experience at the Haines Mannys but on our recent trip were disappointed ,great server but food not up to the usual standard.

Such a shame to see the views posted. Never been to Mannys before and it's been in my to do list for ages and we are staying at Encantada in May very close to the one on the 192 so hoping we have a better experience.

Not just a few people! It is consistently mentioned as being a great place for steak. I have been there dozens of times and never had a bad meal. I certainly wouldn't drive past the one at Rolling Oaks to try the Manny's on 192

Took one look inside Mannys on the 192 and walked straight out,seemed just like a canteen.
