Manatee Experience

Hi guys,

I have been looking on ATD at the Swim with Manatee experience at Crystal River as a potential 30th birthday treat for my husband. However, I'm a bit worried that May will be a bit warm to guarantee there will be manatees around to swim with when the time comes. I think $100 is a bit pricey when there is no guarantee.

Just wondering if anyone else has done this around May time and had no issues with the actual swimming side of the experience?

Thanks!

Go down to key largo - there's literally hundreds of them just in the marina - totally free

You will see them all over key largo ,(usually mid afternoon).

We saw a lot in the marina in between the courtyard and holiday Inn hotels just last week - it's usually a given you'll find some in that location (it's the place where the keys manatee rescue and preservation agency is based)
