Stayed at PB and HRH much prefer the former. HRH one advantage is that's its only a ten minute walk to the parks, PB is further out along the same path. You can obviously get the boat to each or hire on of the bike rickshaws.

We have stayed at all 3. All of them are nice and have good things going for them.
I love HRH, I like the vibe.
Portofino has the nicest rooms and the comfiest beds in the world. It’s also very chilled and does great pizza.
Rpr is nice, I like the pool. We did club level there for a week which was very nice. It’s also generally the cheapest.
I’d be happy at any of the 3, the distance to parks is fine from all 3 with boats as well and express pass.
We are booked for rpr again but I’d like to book a different one for summer for a change but it depends on price.

Have stayed at all 3 club level. Love them all.
Portofino is our favourite.
Biggest room out of them all. large bathroom with shower and separate tub.
Very chilled vibe.
Find club in PB to be the overall best out of the 3.
I think parking is $25 plus tax.
Beautiful walk into Universal, but regular boats every 20 minutes.

Parking is a per night charge so one nights stay gives you 2 nights parking. The parking just gets added to your bill which you pay at checkout but one time we stayed they didn’t charge us which was a nice bonus. Other extras with club level are free beer between certain hours and $5 cocktails. HRH is the closest to the parks, even closer if you cut through the car park and walk past the bus stance. It’s not as scenic a walk but at the end of the night when your feet are killing you it’s handy. PB is nicest but if you’ve got kids it can feel a little stuffy. Pizza in Jakes Bar in RPR is good and it’s probably the best value hotel onsite but HRH is my fav.

HRH and PB coming in at around 400 for one night. Royal pacific about 30 cheaper. All just standard rooms.
Club level is over 130 more for each place. That's a full days eating

Don't think it's justifiable when only doing it for the fast passes etc

I'll have another look later and decide

It depends when you are going. If it’s a busy time it’s worth it’s weight in gold. For us in July the cost is worth it for express for every attraction.

Yes, I think the fast passes are worth it, aside from the stay on site.

We're going early June but my research tells me it's busy most of the year in any case.

How many are going? For us it’s 4 so for breakfast and snacks/beer/drinks/deserts for 2 days it’s worth it. Will also depend on the time of year, in summer the express pass is invaluable. Early June isn’t too bad but even then I’d still rather have the express pass. We’ve booked club level but using Tesco clubcard for 1 night and Avios points for another so in reality it’s not costing us much.

We have stayed at HRH and RPR.
RPR is cheaper but a beautiful hotel. We stay in standard room 2Queen beds for 1 night.
We only sleep in the room, out all day in the parks.
