A little confused

I am just looking at qsdp for our forthcoming trip, trying to get my head around it !
Does 1 qs credit for a meal also include a drink ? I’ve read that savvy dibbers don’t use snack credits for drinks but wondered how you get drinks if they don’t come with the 1 x qs credit ?
I understand that you can fill your mugs for free in the hotels, but not in the parks ! Please is someone able to help me get my head around this ! Sorry if I’m posting daft question

A qs credit includes an entrée and a drink. It's personal preference as to whether to use a snack credit for a drink. I use them for frappeccino (or however you spell it!) at Starbucks.

A QS credit includes a main meal and a drink. You have 2 snack credits each per day. We used some of ours for drinks. No way I can eat all that food. You an also get free iced water from any QS location, just ask. When we got our meals we also asked for iced water and then you can fill your water bottle with it for later. If you are travelling in the summer you will need to drink lots of water.

Not a daft question at all. If you are in your resort then it makes sense to use your refillable mug as your drink and take your QS drink as a snack. For a QS in the Parks I,m pretty sure you can ask for a cup of iced water either in the QS places or at any of the vending carts.

You can have pretty much anything from the menu, with the exception of any "sharing" dishes, or dishes for two If there is anything you'd like but not sure it's on qsdp, just ask your server, they're very helpful.

You can have pretty much any entrée on the menu, and will be advised if you can't when you order. In 5 trips I've only come across 1 exclusion which was the double bacon cheeseburger at Restaurantasaurus in Animal Kingdom, but the CM out it through for us anyway - lovely older man from Yorkshire

Lovely , thanks for all this help ! It’s starting to make more sense !
One more question... I promise ... I’ve just read conflicting info about child credits ! One part said counter service credits are not differentiated in the system between adult and children , therefore you can order adult meal for a child ... whereas somewhere else has said that kids quick service selections can be limited and to get around that some places don’t have a kids menu and so you can order an adult entree with a child credit !
But I thought that the system didn’t recognise between adults and child credits !
Arggggg ... think I might be looking into this too deeply !
