Travelled through Heathrow a couple of weeks ago , and the in airport rate was $1.01 to the £ .. So if the vote goes bad we could see a serious problem with the £ being worth less than $ ...

Im afraid im on my last ever trip as it now is no longer the attractive aspect it was . Other than Gas for the hire car of course ...

We have just done all the calculations on a holiday and cruise in Alaska, literally finished that this afternoon. Most of the payment is in dollars but I am waiting to see what happens tonight. 😯

Given the vote this evening will reject May’s plan and that Plan B is to try to revise Plan A then the only certain thing is the uncertainty continues. All this means that the £ won’t be rising any time soon.

I dont think it will drop too much tonight as obviously a big defeat of the bill is already factored in. Who knows then...

I’ve just converted most of our spending money into dollars on the Revolut app - if there’s a No Deal Brexit, I can only see the pound going lower and lower (although who knows what will happen to the dollar given what’s going on in the states). If Article 50 gets extended, the pound might rally a bit.

I locked in enough $ to ensure my hotel bill will be covered in Fairfax card. I brought home $ cash last year so if it drops heavily I will be ok albeit I will spend less!
