On behalf of the USA, our offer still stands. Even swap May for Trump. Any takers?
I dont follow much and dont get much coverage either, but would definitely take May over Trump.

May is in a very difficult position . Bit like kids saying they are hungry but everything you offer them just isnt acceptable but they won’t bother telling you what they actually want .
I was principally referring to Remain MPs as we have Remain mps of all parties making that call. I don't hear any Leaver mps doing likewise. Similarly, I suspect majority of voters backing second referendum voted Remain but as for the level of support for it overall, I am with you that the majority still wish the democratic decision to be honoured.

She wasn’t handed a poisoned chalice, she took it willingly with her eyes wide open.

Cameron should have grown a pair and not run off with his tail between his legs.

HE was elected by the people to do the people’s will because he promised the referendum, it’s what got him re-elected, he woefully underestimated the number of people voting for him just because of the promise of the referendum.

At the very least, a proper “pro brexit” person should have replaced him, not someone who clearly has never wanted to leave the EU.

It was and is never going to happen with a pro eu parliament and civil service, us plebs got it wrong and we will vote again and again until we vote the correct way for the political elite.

Strange isn’t it that even though some think we are the laughing stock of the world because of brexit migrants are still killing themselves to get here
of course, if I came from somewhere you got nothing, but a country that gave you everything, I would come here.

But hey, lets ignore the majority and go for another vote and then another vote if its not want people want.

They aren't voting in brexit itself, more like the prime ministers proposal on how to do it

Theresa May only has herself to blame for this. I had high hopes for her initially, but she started off on the wrong foot and has just doubled down ever since.

She had the opportunity to seek consensus and come up with a solution palatable to the majority and yet she chose an arbitrary set of red lines and soundbites like “citizens of nowhere”.

That’s not leadership. I know that there’s no one else clamouring for the job, but that goes a long way to show us what a state our political system is in.

We can’t go back from here, the EU won’t want us to remain as a member, we don’t have a feasible way forward to go it alone and we have 2.5 months until we’re due to leave. Triggering A50 with no plan in place was a gross dereliction of duty.

So why don’t they put that question to the people? Vote on the deal if we are of course going to leave?

That's their job! We've done ours, we voted to leave.

But leave how?

Norway?
Canada?
May’s deal?
No deal?

They are all vastly different propositions and even when one is decided on some people who voted leave will be disappointed as it wasn’t they sort of ‘leave’ they were expecting.

Looks like no deal. Life's full of disappointments! You've just got to pull your socks up and plough on.
