Day 4 - Hollywood Studios

The days get a little foggy from here so I’ll stick to the food and our thoughts with an occasional snippet from here on in. 😁

Bruch was from Woodys lunch box. The queue was huge here and people aren’t joking when they said there isn’t any shade! I have no idea why we didn’t try mobile ordering - here would have been perfect! We found it frustrating that people were finding a table, then joining the line, meaning that table was out of action for the 20 mins they were in line. We were lucky when we got our food and spotted some people shuffling their stuff together ready to leave, and when we had finished, we caught the attention of a lady and her kids that had their food but no table and made sure they got ours.

We used 2 QS credits and split them both between us.

First up - beef brisket melt

This was ok - not really my thing but I don’t know why. I love brisket, I love bbq sauce, I love cheese and all those things in a toasty together should be a winner. Mr Clamshell however was quite happy to finish my half 😂

This came with a side of potato barrels

And next up, totchos!

These were great! They normally have sour cream on top but I asked for that to be left off. This was potato barrels and nacho strips topped with chilli and cheese. I really enjoyed this.

Later that day, dinner was in Mama Melrose’s ristorante Italiano. We hadn’t booked the fantasmic package, but it was offered to us by our server so we decided to do that.

Bread with herb oil to start

The bread was lovely- I could have had that alone and been happy enough 😁

The main event!

We both had the strip steak with the four cheese mac and cheese with pancetta and chianti reduction. This was great - every bit as good as the hype.

Not one dessert, but three!

This is the standard dessert trio that comes with the dining package. I immediately passed the tiramisu over to Mr Clamshell as I don’t like coffee. The other two were really nice.

We headed over to watch fantasmic and the tickets we were given with the dining package gave us great seats.

Once the show was over we headed back to the resort and called it a night.

Distance walked - 9.8km

14865 steps
