Hi Animagus, Sorry for the delay replying we been busy decorating and i've been away from the Dibb Yes I think 5 nights sounds about right. We have been 3 times and usually aim for 4 or 5 nights as we love the city. Our son has been about to turn 13 & 14 years old when we have been on the two more recent trips and has really enjoyed the city. The only downside of SF is that a lot of places don't open until 10am which is a bit of a pain when you're jeglagged and raring to go at 7am An early morning trip to Alcatraz is a good way to fill the time.

Now it’s my turn to apologise
Our thinking was that 13 would be a good age. DD has had a couple of wobbles over the idea (ultimately she just wants to go to Florida again), but we’ve been talking about it today and she has a renewed enthusiasm

How funny that we’ve both got a DLP countdown? We all need to get our fixes in wherever we can.
I’m thinking I’ll start putting a proper plan together once we return from DLP.

I’ll definitely revisit your trippies to help. Can I ask how far out you were able to book accommodation? I know I’ve got to wait for the flights at 11months. We will be travelling August 2020
