We did the Flagstaff to Grand Canyon and back on a steam train. Good fun, including being ‘held up’ by a gang of desperados along the way! thetrain/the-train/schedule-route/

Gives you the bare minimum of time at the grand canyon to do one of the loops, but would be a nice way to travel.

To say its not in Vegas is an understatement, Williams is 3.5 hours drive from Vegas.

Does look like fun though.

We are doing the train from Williams to GC in June - we did it a few years ago and its a great relaxing way to travel. There is a good offer for a 2 night stay. It's a fantastic experience.

Would be nice combined with a stay in the Canyon Park.
