Which of these vegas hotels for family with teens
We are pricing up adjoining rooms as we need a bit of space with 2 teens on a long road trip and really don't want to put them in a double sofa bed or one queen together - trust me its best for everyone's sanity that does not happen!
Price wise for us the affordable choices for 3 nights that seem not too dated and have a bit of wow factor are the following: Planet Hollywood Mandalay Bay Delano at Mandalay Bay Park MGM The Mirage Vdara Hilton Grand Vacations All look lovely but I wouldn't know which to choose? I would love to hear your opinions based on bit of wow factor, we are in Vegas after all, location,we want the strip ideally, family suitability and VERY important is an excellent pool area without the big noisy parties as we definitely want a relaxing pool day, we will have been road tripping for 2 weeks by the time we get there. I know lots of you recommend the MGM signature suites but its sharing a sofa bed again and booking 2 rooms actually is not working out much more than a 1/2 bedroom suite type, when I priced the hotels above. Any thoughts are much appreciated and i have been searching this feed for similar questions and going round in circles and still struggling to make a decision on this?

Watching this with interest, hadn't thought about adjoining rooms but could definitely be an option for us too

We’ve stayed in the Vdara. It’s not a casino hotel and it’s right next to the Bellagio which you can reach by the adjoining walkway. We had a room on the 52nd floor overlooking the Bellagio fountains. That was amazing. The Vdara has a really lovely pool area too. We would definitely stay here again.

The Hilton grand vacations is too far down the strip imo
My kids liked the planet Hollywood and NYNY on the strip |

I would stay at polo towers, hotel tax minimum, no casino, so hotel is not smokey. Next door to mum. You can hire a 2 bedroom with living room, dining area and kitchen. Sleeps 6. We took our 2 young adult children and dd boyfriends, lots of room. Free laundry facilities on all floor.
Pool area has barbecues with all the utensils which are cleaned after use by staff. Free towels at pool. Place is very clean with housekeeping everyday.

I have stayed at Mandalay and in my opinion a lovely hotel but is too far south on the strip. Love the Mirage and has a lovely pool, great staff, have no complaints at all. Have stayed there at least 4 times. Only problem I see is you are going smack bang in the summer and there will be pool parties. People go to Vegas for that reason. Stayed at Vdara which I personally like best out of all your choices and am staying there in May. No casino so smoke free. Its lovely with own little kitchen and sofa area. Pool will be quieter than most you have suggested. Whether it will have the wow factor for you and especially the kids, I dont know. PH my guess would be most likely for pool parties as it does cater to a younger crowd. Nice hotel and great location. Inside Miracle Mile shops so easy to have a wander around there. Any questions I would be happy to try and help.

Out of those id definitely go for the mirage, great location on the strip and pool is lovely. Mandalay bay is beautiful but its a bit far out and the furthest part of the south strip.

Love the Mirage even though it's knocking on a bit. Would stay there anytime but love the Wynn/Encore as my numero uno.

Take a look at Tahiti Village. We own a timeshare there and go back every couple of years. Their pool is fantastic and the run a shuttle to the strip, plus the Duece bus stop is a short walk and you can get anywhere in the strip or the downtown Vegas area using that.
