Reasonable Price?
Hi, I've been quoted £5272 by Virgin for a fly-drive from Glasgow to Orlando for end of June 2018 for 21 nights with a standard SUV. Does this sound reasonable? Can't decide whether to book or wait until BA other schedule flights go on sale in few months

Yikes! That's a lot of money. I guess it's school holidays in Scotland though?
If you were looking at Manchester, that time of year, I'd be telling you to look out for £500pp flights. I wouldn't even dream of paying £1300 per person for economy flights... in fact, I'd think they were on the expensive side for premium flights!

Yeah it's start of school summer holidays in Scotland but unfortunately we're stuck with those dates. We usually fly from Manchester, but this time we want to fly from Glasgow. We've been 6 times over the years but it's been 4 years since our last trip so wasn't sure of what price to expect. Think I'll hang off for a couple of months until scheduled flights on sale etc

Hopefully someone will be along soon to let you know how they compare to normal June flights from Glasgow, but yeah, I think waiting for the actual flights to be released might be a good idea.
Have you checked out the prices of Thomas Cook? I think they fly direct from Glasgow.

I was on a flight from Glasgow to London last year and sat next to a lovely pair who were off to Disney.
They were flying from Glasgow to London, staying at the airport overnight and then flying to Orlando the next day. Apparently they always did that as the price from London (including the flight from Glasgow and airport hotel) worked out less than direct from Glasgow. Good luck with your booking
