Swan / Dolphin
I have read the reviews of the Swan and Dolphin on Trip Advisor. They are pretty bad. Are these hotels really that bad?

I am booked for 1 night in the Swan so I hope not as bad as the reviews says. I hear a lot of people say the Dolphin tends to attract more Business customers during the week for conferences.

I hated the Dolphin when we stayed for 2 nights over NY...very overrated IMO.Hopefully all the rooms have been refurbed since my stay, but our room wasn't clean and the smell of damp was awful. The view of Epcot's fireworks and the location was all it had going for it. It's a shame as the hotel from the outside looks stunning but inside just didn't do it for me. Shabby housekeeping and even shabbier towels just isn't good enough.

We stayed at The Swan for our honeymoon in 2010 and we loved it. Great location, good restaurants, fantastic pool, comfy beds. I have read reports of it showing a bit of wear and tear these days though we've been back for a potter round since (obv didn't see the bedrooms) and thought it still looked smart.
However, we haven't booked to return since as you get more perks onsite in the Disney-owned properties. |
