Hi there, I've been trying to catch up with this post (inc original) as we booked csr through Disney directly and after a lot of thought we'd like to move to art of animation. We got free dining but upgraded this to the DDP.
What are my chances of getting this move? From reading this it looks like I'd be wasting my time phoning up? Thanks in advance |

Sorry forgot to add: I'm a civil engineer so my working life consists of being on a massive building site. We live in a new build estate which has a lot of building work still going on so we want to get away from builders, dust, noise, hi via vests etc!

Thanks for the reply. I emailed them just to see if they could tell me if there's any availability at the little mermaid rooms (as the suites are more expensive than what we booked) but it's only the suites available on the website. she just said to call them for more information. I'm always a bit hesitant to ring them as they can never make out my accent lol (Scottish)

Just spoke to my darling husband... he was the one who originaly took the call from Thomson when they offered POR he can't remember exactly what they said... he thinks they just said we can move you to POR with no admin charge or AOA and refund any differences. So I will ask them for any recordings and see what the response is... ahhhhh

Just had Disney on the phone, someone called Annie. she called to acknowledge my email and to reassure me CSR will not be impacted by the construction. She went on to say Disney are not moving people and that she cannot access my booking and I need to go back to Thomson. Pretty pointless! Not interested in helping at all!

Maybe phone and not mention the construction at all as I'm sure ppl have requested a resort move before? Then what would they say then? Or has this been tried?
