Goodbye to themed bedding
Though I new it was coming its the first time I have seen a room without it, and well it looks rather grim personally!
This was from the Alligator Bayou area. This is the current Mansion rooms, which has a similar spread to AB.

Don't they still have themed runners though?
We last went in 2014 and the bedding in SSR had already changed back then. The old ones didn't get cleaned that often, dread to think what was in them.

This info was on the Portorleans.org site. They have said all themed bedding, the little pillows, etc everything has been now removed.
I guess its easier to see bed bugs and the throws were not cleaned very often so I guess they could have harbored little creatures but I dont think it would have broken Disney to have some printed sheets with a little bit of theme on them.

It looks like the beds are half made now. The runner gave them a bit of colour.

Did anyone actually keep the runner on the bed though? It looks boring all white but we used to fold the runner up the first night and leave it on the shelf for 2 weeks. Will miss the little pillow though used to use that to block out dh snoring.

We stayed there two weeks ago and our room in AB still had the runner across the bottom. Has it changed since then?

Oh very plain looking without the runner. We always take it off though so not a huge issue for us.
