I'm impressed
I've just received a personalised brochure off P & O detailing our upcoming cruise. It has the itenarary and details of what's on offer during the cruise both on and off the ship.
I know it's a gimmick to buy shore excursions etc but it's a nice touch.

One of my favourite parts about all cruise lines is the cruise brochure/documents they send you! Not only shows you how close your cruise is but also gives you some great info about the ports etc.

This will be our fourth cruise, we have not received anything like this before any of the others.

How weird! Did you book this earlier than previous cruises? Maybe I've just been lucky but I know my friend had this with P&O a few years ago and I've had with Disney and Cunard so just assumed it was standard. Maybe I should be even MORE impressed It makes a great keepsake too

No, we usually book well in advance. The only thing we have had similar is at the end of our last cruise, which was with Princess. They presented each passenger a pamphlet with details of the ports visited, the weather for each day and anything else of note that happened during the cruise, which I thought was a nice touch.
It put a smile on my face after what has been a bad weekend.

Oh that sounds lovely! I guess I did always assume cruiselines did it then as its a great way to sell their tours.
