So happy to have booked 9am Crown tickets

Sounds like a very packed day - no wonder your feet were so tired!

What an amazing day! Lots of things I'd love to do, New York is on my list of places to go - planning for 2019 as it's our 25th wedding anniversary and DS will be 21 and DD 18.

Sounds like such a fab day! How lovely you got to do so much in the morning, without the crowds.

My mouth is watering at those apple crumble bars.

Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to post this.

We have just this week booked to go to NY for next March!

Can I just pinch your itinary?! We will certainly be copying everything you did on this day, right down to getting to ground zero before 8 and then going for breakfast and then onto the Statue of Liberty!I expect it is so much more thought provoking when it is quieter.

I will be looking out for the rest of your report

Thanks again.

Great trippy!

Below a bit of trivia (not my picture), you mentioned the Bull and Titanic. If you look behind the bull for the Subway, that was the office of the White Star Line, where everyone waited for news of the Titanic.

Looks like an amazing day, you got so much done. Good planning skills! Imagine wasting a day in that queue, definitely worth the early morning by the looks of it. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to reading more!

You can definitely see the benefit of the early start, the queues later looked horrendous Great planning. The tip re the star on google maps is a good one.

LOL at the bulls balls – my two would be the same if we ever tried it!

I went to New York with my friends when we were in our 20s and still remember those steps up and back down the SOL!

Id like to take my girls in the next couple of years - I don't think they're ready for all the walking and sightseeing yet. Your apartment seems like its in a good location so you can pop back for a well deserved rest. Those cakes look delicious.

Looking forward to reading more - thanks for all the detail.
