Baby shoes - what size ?
I’m looking for red shoes for my great niece who will be 1 year old on 30/12.
I’ve found some that are sized by age - e.g. 6 to 12m or 9-12m. But the pair I really want to buy are sized - e.g 0.5 to 1.5, 2-3 etc. Is this the normal way to size baby shoes and which size would I need for a 12 month old ? Thanks Great Auntie Linda (makes me sound 108 years old !) Here she is, with her 2 big brothers 😍 Edited at 11:12 PM. |

At that age they would need to be properly measured for size and width.

My children were both about a size 3 or 3.5 at that age I think. Shops usually start sizing shoes when babies start to walk.
She’s very cute 😍

Each child will be different
My baby granddaughter’s first shoes were a 2.5G at 10 months when she first started walking , her last pair bought at 13 mths and measured again at 15,5 months were a 4F. So its pretty hard to tell and they really do need measuring correctly at that age . |

Thanks everyone. I’ve crossed them off my shopping list, don’t want her to be uncomfortable.
