Confused on water parks for hopper plus tickets

One day water park tickets say that you can 'hop' between the two if both are open.

If I have a hopper plus ticket, can I also hop between the 2 water parks or would that use up 2 of my plus options?

that would use 2 "plus" entitlements, despite having the hopper option

"plus" entries are defined by disney as "visits"
you may reenter the same waterpark on the same day, but visiting 2 waterparks on the same day is considered 2 visits, and costs 2 entitlements

also hopping only works between major parks

your hopper allows you to enter all 4 theme parks in the same day but if you enter for example MK and Blizzard Beach the same day, you'll use 1 day of entry AND 1 visit on your "plus" entitlements.

As chmurf says above.

If you visit both water parks in one day then this will use 2 'plus' visits from your ticket. The 'plus' visits are separate to entry into the main theme parks, which is counted using "days" not "visits".

Yes. Hopper refers to theme park hopping while the "plus" refers to your waterpark admission. Your "plus" is not hoppable.

correct

"PLUS" is an addon to a regular (main) park tickets
that's not a full priced water park ticket

the full priced, waterpark only ticket is good for both park the same day

the "plus", is an option, including multiple visits to waterparks, but not hoppable between waterparks

thInk about this, the "plus" option on a multiday ticket is about $20 and allows for up to 10 waterpark visits (10 days tickets) so you can drive this as low as $2 a visit to the waterparks on a 10 days ticket

a 1 day admission to the waterparks costs $69

you can easily see how a $69 ticket waterpark for 1 day will get you access to both park the same day, when a $20 upgrade on a regular park ticket would not (unless you use multiple visits)

As the others have said above, however...

I just want to add that you *can* hop between the waterparks with a Hopper Plus. A 1 Day Hopper Plus ticket gives you two visits. You can use more than one visit per day. So you can go to both waterparks on the same day (and thus "hop" between them). It just means you use the 2 visits in the one day. Same goes for other Hopper Plus tickets with more days.
