I had a similar experience with an Uber not showing ... in Nottingham . It didn't put me off as it was quickly sorted. I tend to favour Lyft in the US as I prefer their app.

Most lyft drivers are also on uber. Chances are you will get the same service type of car etc.

Lyft often send out discounts nrver had one off uber.

As already said, a lot of drivers work for both and both company logos are displayed in the window.

We have used them both quite a lot on Vegas holidays, and both have been excellent.
Lyft has generally been a little bit cheaper, but Uber has more checks on drivers, so “feels” like they are more reliable.

You really need to use both, and get sign up discounts for both.

I agree wholeheartedly. OK they're cute but that's it. I definitely would not spend that much money.
